Very glad you have switched from plastic bags to recyclable paper. However, those of us with septic tanks cannot flush the gel in the cold packs. Please push your suppliers to find an alternative that can be recycled by everyone, along with an alternative to the fiber padding.
Hi Suzanne– Jordan here, our community team lead at HelloFresh! Our suppliers tell us that the gel is septic safe once dissolved in water. They recommend dumping the liquid down the toilet and recycling the plastic.

Red is a power color and Red empowers me to create–be it in the kitchen planning to cook my first Hello Fresh Box, or painting and sewing in my craft room with a glass of red wine on a Friday nite!
