3 Homemade Pizza Recipes For Every Meal Of The Day February 5, 2019
Let’s be real, we’re never really NOT in the mood for some ‘za. So this got us thinking… Can we actually pull off eating pizza for every meal? We put our team of professional HelloFresh chefs on the case, and they cracked it wide open with these 3 homemade pizza recipes.
Breakfast: “In Egg We Crust” Pizza
So you can wake up and feel like you’re still dreaming.
Ingredients:
- Your favorite pre-made pizza crust
- All-Purpose Flour for Dusting Pan
- ½ lb Ricotta Cheese
- 1 Tsp Garlic Powder
- Salt and Pepper
- ½ cup Shredded Mozzarella
- ½ cup Diced Bacon, fully cooked
- 2 Eggs
- 1 Tbsp Olive Oil
- 1 tsp Salt
- 1 tsp Red Chili Flakes
Instructions:
- Preheat oven to 500℉, or as directed on pizza crust package.
- Invert a baking sheet and dust with flour. TIP: Test the dough before topping, if it does not slide easily, lift the dough and add a little more flour.
- In a small bowl, mix together ricotta cheese, a pinch of garlic powder, salt, and pepper.
- Spread mixture onto the crust, leaving a small border around the edge.
- Scatter shredded mozzarella on top.
- Sprinkle with cooked bacon.
- Bake, per the instructions on the package, until the cheese is melted and the crust has about 5 minutes left.
- Remove pizza from oven and crack 2 eggs on top.
- Return pizza to oven and bake until eggs are set, about 5 minutes, or to your desired doneness. Drizzle with olive oil.
- Season with salt and serve immediately. For some added heat, sprinkle some red chili flakes on top.
Lunch/Dinner: “Rockin’ Rabe” Pizza
This savory, cheesy, absolutely delectable pie should fill you up until the next meal pizza.
Ingredients:
- Your favorite pre-made pizza crust
- All-Purpose Flour for Dusting Pan
- ¼ cup Pesto
- ½ cup fresh Baby Bocconcini Mozzarella
- 10oz Broccoli Rabe, lightly sauteed with garlic and oil, roughly chopped
- ½ lb Crumbled Italian Sausage, fully cooked
- 1 tsp Red Chili Flakes
Instructions:
- Preheat a pizza stone or baking sheet to 500℉.
- Invert a baking sheet and dust with flour. TIP: Test the dough before topping, if it does not slide easily, lift the dough and add a little more flour.
- Roll the dough out according to package instructions and transfer to the prepared pizza pan.
- Brush pesto lightly over the top. Don’t over-sauce or you’ll end up with a soggy crust.
- Tear fresh mozzarella with hands and scatter over pizza.
- Top with sauteed broccoli rabe and cook crumbled Italian sausage.
- Slide onto the pre-heated pizza stone.
- Bake until the cheese is brown, bubbly, and melted (about 8-12 minutes) or as recommended on the dough package directions.
- Top with chili flakes if desired and enjoy!

- 1 tsp Cinnamon
- 2 Tbsp Sugar
- ¾ cup of Nutella (or the whole jar, because YOLO)
- 1 Ripe Banana, sliced
- ¼ cup Hazelnuts, toasted and chopped
- Optional: Toasted Coconut, shredded
Instructions:
- Preheat a pizza stone or baking sheet to 500℉.
- Invert a baking sheet and dust with flour. TIP: Test the dough before topping, if it does not slide easily, lift the dough and add a little more flour.
- Sprinkle a rolled out pizza crust with cinnamon and sugar then fully bake per instructions on package.
- Remove from oven and immediately spread a generous layer of Nutella on the warm pie, leaving a small border.
- Scatter sliced banana rounds on top.
- Garnish with chopped toasted hazelnuts.
- Optional: Top with toasted shredded coconut.
- Serve immediately.
