One of the perks of working in the food industry is getting to do some awesome research. This week, the HelloFresh chefs visited the New Fulton Fish Market at Hunts Point in New York City in the wee hours of the morning to scope out the freshest of fish. 

We saw lots of HelloFresh staples – salmon, tilapia, mahi mahi, hake, and shrimp – as well as tons of new fish that had our wheels spinning – monkfish, calamari, mussels, clams, John Dory (we finally understood why Ellen DeGeneres’ character is named “Dory” in Finding Nemo!).
