Celebrate your favorite fuzzy-skinned fruits this month with eight juicy and delicious peach recipes. We’ve got a feeling you’ll ap-peach-iate every single one.

We would like to have a serious chat with the person in charge of food holidays. Because however much we love eating, it’s impossible to remember every one — especially when it comes to celebrations like national glazed spiral ham day on April 5, “something on a stick” day on March 28, and an entire bison month in July.

But national peach month in August? Now that’s right up our alley.

Native to China, this stone fruit is recognizable by its fuzzy, pinkish white skin and sweet flesh. As if their succulent taste wasn’t enough, peaches are also loaded with fiber, antioxidants, and vitamins to keep your appetite satisfied, hair glowing, and skin smooth. They’re available in most regions of the United States from May to October but peak in the late summer months.

To help you make the most of this oh-so-important food holiday, we’ve compiled a list of eight HelloFresh recipes that’ll have you feeling peachy.

1. Pan-Seared Pork Chops with Shallot Thyme Pan Sauce, Peach Arugula Salad, and Couscous

We’re not sure what we like best about this peach recipe: the combination of juicy fruit with peppery arugula or the tender pork drizzled with herby pan sauce. We’ll let you decide for yourself. Get the recipe here.

2. Peach and Tomato Tartines with Ricotta, Mint, and Almonds

Kiss ordinary toast goodbye and say HELLO to tartines, or French open-faced sandwiches. This one’s topped with creamy ricotta, summery greens, and succulent caramelized peaches. It’s practically a no-cook meal, which means you’ll be “toasting” to dinnertime in under 30 minutes. Get the recipe here.

3. Jerk Chicken and Peach Skewers with Curried Rice Pilaf

We’ve taken skewers to a whole new level by adding peach slices to a Jamaican-inspired dish. Tender chicken and curried rice round out this sweet and savory meal to remember. Get the recipe here.

4. Peach and Mozzarella Flatbread with Walnuts and Balsamic Arugula Salad

Sweet peaches + crunchy walnuts + creamy mozzarella = the ultimate summer flatbread. Need we say more? Get the recipe here.

5. Peach and Nectarine Orzo Salad with Feta, Cucumber, and Mint

Although nectarines are firmer than peaches, they’re just as sweet. Together, the two make for an knockout pair in this refreshing salad. Pop the fruit under the broiler for a few minutes before tossing with crisp cucumbers, mint, lemon, and chewy orzo. Get the recipe here.

6. Peachy Pork Tacos with Tangy Summer Slaw

Pork pairs well with almost any fruit — apples, figs, pineapple, you name it! In this recipe, we combine tender meat with peaches, tomatoes, shallots, lime zest, lime juice, and parsley before wrapping it all up in a warm tortilla. Get the recipe here.

7. Peach, Mint, and Ginger Iced Tea

Keep that grill on allllllll the way through to dessert. For a fruity end to the meal, top peaches with blueberries, honey, butter, and lemon juice. Try your best to share. Get the recipe here.

I know we promised you eight peach recipes, but we couldn’t resist tossing in a few more from around the web. How dreamy do these sound?!

And while you’re stocking up on fruit, be sure to grab some bananas and oranges to stuff these Brazilian tapioca pancakes.

Your site came up on my computer.(1) Do I order what I want or do you pack and deliver products that you choose with each order? (2) What is your required method of payment? (3) How often can I make orders? (4) How do I get recipes? Are they free?

Jacqueline says:

I got two weeks of your meals(3 meals for two) as a birthday gift. I haven’t tried anything yet, but I’m getting my first order next week. I will say I was VERY disappointed to find that you don’t offer VEGAN options. I know quite a few more folks who would love this(including myself) if there were vegan meal options for those of us who do NOT eat animal products.
Please consider this for future recipes.

Jacqueline says:

As of right now, we are still working on a certified vegan box. All of our meals are clearly marked if they are Vegan. If they are not, substituting and omitting is easy as everything is packaged separately. We have plenty of very happy Vegan customers! In case you have more specific questions about how HelloFresh meals could work for your diet, feel free to email our nutritionist at nutrition@hellofresh.com.

My husband & I raise peaches. This would have been a GREAT article IF you had it up in August, when there are peaches.

Today is October 1…..OCTOBER. The chances of finding peaches that are still fit to eat is very slim at best (we have our last peaches of the year that are still decent to eat at our farmstand…….around 10 half bushels, & that’s it).

Not helping a lot of folks here…..need to check the article scheduling.

Jordan Schultz says:

Hi Leslie! Thanks for the feedback– This blog post was actually published mid-August, during peach season.
