Gwendolyn says:

Do you serve Stillwater, Oklahoma?

Jordan Schultz says:

Jordan here from our community team. We sure do! We actually serve the entire contiguous US!

Beth says:

Are you meals tree-nut free?

Jacqueline Parisi says:

Hi Beth – good question! Hellofresh has a variety of recipes – some of which are nut-free and some of which contain the allergen. Ingredients are stored in HelloFresh facilities segregated by packaging that results in protection from cross-contact. This protection is as rigorous as the handling, storage, and display segregation achieved in typical retail establishments (supermarkets, etc). Most ingredients pass through HelloFresh to the customer sealed in the packages they were received in.

Transparency is important to HelloFresh, and we make it our priority to provide as much nutrition information to our customers about every ingredient in every recipe. HelloFresh has a team of dietitians that reviews every ingredient for any of the major 8 allergens: wheat, dairy, soy, eggs, nuts, peanuts, fish, and shellfish. The dietitians then use this information to identify and disclose if any recipe contains any of these allergens. Information about any potential allergens in any recipe is then posted on the website next to the meal choice, and the specific ingredient that contains the allergen is called out.

We leave it to our customers to review the recipes each week and determine which ones best meet their dietary needs. But of course, we’re always here to help!

Susann says:

Do you deliver in Kailua kona Hawaii?

Jacqueline Parisi says:

Hi Susann – Unfortunately, we can’t make it to Hawaii at this time, but stay tuned! We’re always working on ways to improve and grow the HelloFresh family.

Eric says:

Will the family plan feed 4 grown adults? Or is it designed for 2 adults and 2 children?

Jordan Schultz says:

The Family Plan is designed to provide 4 adult-sized portions!

Margie says:

Wow I am glad to know all the additions like the Wine Club that have been added. I’m sure the Vegetarian plans are a popular option too.

Jacqueline Parisi says:

They definitely are, Margie!

LindaR says:

Any suggestions on what to do with meals if schedules change and the food can’t be prepared the week it is delivered?

Jordan Schultz says:

Our food is packaged around its peak of ripeness so it’s ready to cook when you unpack your box. You can toss any of the meat in the freezer until you’re ready to use it. We always recommend making the seafood dishes first and the produce is generally fine to leave in the fridge for up to 7 days, but we recommend checking in on the produce every day or so to be sure!`

sherry says:

When will you offer a low carb or keto versions. I need less sugar and starch.

Jordan Schultz says:

Jordan here, from our community team. We don’t offer a low-carb option at the moment, but we’re always looking to better serve our customers. I’ll let our chefs know that you’re interested in this offering.

Just so you know, you can see a full nutritional breakdown and ingredient list for each recipe before you choose your meals each week!

I love it so much

Jacqueline Parisi says:

Happy to hear that, Jakai! If you end up making it, be sure to tag #HelloFreshPics. We’d love to see it!!

Bethany says:

Wow! This looks way too good! Yum!

Nadia says:

The addition of the “spice blend” recipe is confusing. Is this the “pumpkin pie spice” that’s referenced in the first half of the recipe? Are we adding half a teaspoon of that to the pumpkin or all of it? I would like more clarity— I’m concerned that I’ve just mixed another batch of pumpkin pie spice, which I already have in ample supply.

Jacqueline Parisi says:

Hi Nadia – you only need 1/2 teaspoon of pumpkin pie spice blend! Of course, if you have the store-bought kind, you can use that. We just provided you with the recipe to make your own since it’s so simple! Use 1/2 teaspoon and store the rest for more fall baking fun 🙂

All Clad’s user manual states, “Preheat your cooktop on low to moderate heat. All-Clad is designed to distribute heat quickly and evenly, preventing hot spots and sticking. High
heat should only be used for boiling.” I have two of their pans and have had much better success with your recipes since I started using low to medium heat.
