I got my first Hello Fresh shipment and it was disgusting. The chicken leaked all over everything else, it all went in the garbage. I contacted their customer service, and it was middling. I got a credit, and new meals coming 2 wks out. The whole point was meals this week while inlaws were in town. Now I just have extra garbage in the garbage bin. It was gross.

As the Head Dietitian, I’d be happy to help answer your question. HelloFresh has a large variety of recipes and options each week to pick from. We list out all of the nutrition information on the website next to the meal choices up to 6 weeks in advance before your box arrives. You can log in and see the nutrition (including sodium) ahead of time in order to select the recipes that work best for you. If you are ever uncertain about something, you can also reach out to the dietitian’s directly at nutrition@hellofresh.com

Love your very balanced approach to clean, healthy eating! I agree with you about the juice fasts. They are just sugar water with the fiber (“pulp”) removed! If you are using them to detox, it is NOT going to help with that because one of your biggest cleansing organs, the colon, needs that discarded fiber to bind to toxins and eliminate them from the body. Thanks for your post!

I got a call today to get me back ordering. They said you now have low carb veggie offerings but I don’t see them. Where do I find what’s in those boxes before it is sent Sept 10?

Hello
The chipotle shrimp skewers with charred
pineapple and red peppers, sounds delicious! Unfortunately the amount of garlic was left out of the recipe. I would love to try my hand at making these, however I am a bit hesitant since I don’t know how much garlic to use. Will you please share with all of us how much garlic we are supposed to add? I dont want to overpower the other ingredients by guessing. I also do not want to omit the garlic, since it does go so well with shrimp.

Hi Adrianna! You can choose your delivery day, and in much of the country we delivery Monday-Saturday!

Hi Sharon – thanks so much for reaching out! Right now, customers are not able to set a specific “gluten free” menu preference for their boxes. That being said, we strive to be as transparent as possible when it comes to our nutrition and allergen information. That way, customers can make the meal choices that work best for their specific dietary needs!

Ingredient information for each recipe can be found on the website next to each meal choice. You can find the nutrition breakdown by visiting our home page, clicking on “Our Recipes,” then clicking on “This Week” or “Next Week.” Next to each meal we have all the ingredients and potential allergens (as well as in which ingredient(s) the allergen is present). You can then click on the green link, “more recipe info,” to see the nutrition breakdown.

As HelloFresh continues to grow, we greatly value our customers’ feedback and requests, and I will bring up your concerns with the rest of the team.
