It’s that dreaded day of the week and it only seems worse after a long holiday weekend. If you need a little pizzazz in your life, you should be especially glad you’re a HelloFresher this week.
In your upcoming delivery, you will be receiving our infamous Cardamom Spiked Shrimp Pilau, Chicken Paillard, Duck Breasts, Roasted Pepper and Lamb Ragu and/or Tofu and Shiitake Stir Fry. These are some of my favorite recipes because they are accentuated with rich herbs, spices and seeds that spruce up our already delicious dishes!
Known for its anti-inflammatory and anti-cancer properties, turmeric also contributes great flavor and goodness. This popular herb boasts many health benefits, including controlling “bad cholesterol” levels. Enjoy experimenting with turmeric in your dishes!
Rosemary, another herb packed with phyto-nutrients and antioxidants, is personally my favorite herb. It is also a great source of iron and vitamins A and C and can liven any dish with its distinct aroma so don’t be afraid to use it in your favorite recipes!
One of the first oil seeds known to humankind, sesame seeds are used in both culinary and traditional medicines for their curative properties. These delicious seeds are also a great source of protein and add that extra crunch and texture to any meal.
Don’t be afraid to experiment and, more importantly, have fun with these ingredients!
