It’s that time of year when many people seem to be feeling under the weather. If you’re one of them or are worried about your coworker spreading his/her germs and incessant coughing, here are a few tips to be in the clear:
1. Get your fix of colorful fruits and vegetables which are loaded with antioxidants and help boost the immune response and increase resistance to infection and colds.
2. Avoid alcohol, coffee and caffeinated sodas since they interfere with the immune system’s job of restoring health. Instead, squeeze a lemon into a cup of honey and hot water.
3. Maintain an overall healthy lifestyle by sleeping an adequate amount, exercising regularly and eating a healthy, nutritious diet and your immune system will be in great condition!
