What Are You Thankful For? November 23, 2016

by Lifestyle

Here at HelloFresh, we talk a lot about food. And by a lot, we mean all. the. time. But in honor of the big day tomorrow, we wanted to take a break from all the recipes, produce storing tips, and kitchen hacks to ask a very important question: what are you thankful for?

Whether it’s for your family, friends, pets, health, good food (we couldn’t resist), or job, thankfulness works wonders for your health. In fact, according to an April 2015 study conducted by researchers at the University of California, San Diego, there is a strong correlation between gratitude and well-being. This includes better sleep, less depressed mood, less fatigue during the day, and even improved cardiac function. But that’s not all. Researchers from the University of Kentucky discovered that grateful people are more likely to empathize with others and, in turn, exhibit far less aggressive behavior.

Sounds like a win-win, don’t you think?

Needless to say, there’s no better time to take a step back and ask yourself what it is you’re thankful for. That’s what we did, which is why we’d like to extend a big thank you to the entire fresh family.

Thank you for joining us on this delicious journey, for sharing our love of home cooking, and for trusting us when we told you that it can actually be fun. You are all a constant source of inspiration, reminding us time and time again that food does, really, bring people together.

HelloFresh is what it is because of YOU, and for that we say thank you tomorrow and always. Thanks a million.

Have a happy, healthy, and delicious Thanksgiving.
